What it costs
Straightforward rates,
nothing hidden
I charge below the NDIS price cap because good support shouldn't cost as much as the system allows. Everything is upfront — what you see here is what you pay.
The rates
Hourly rates
All rates are set below the NDIS price cap and are GST-free. Rates apply to both NDIS-funded and private bookings.
| Day / Time | Spectrum Supports rate | NDIS price cap | Saving vs cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday – Friday (incl. evenings) | $65.00/hr | $70.23/hr | $5.23 (7.4%) |
| Saturday | $85.00/hr | $98.55/hr | $13.55 (13.7%) |
| Sunday | $100.00/hr | $128.17/hr | $28.17 (22.0%) |
| Public holiday | $120.00/hr | $156.85/hr | $36.85 (23.5%) |
Rates are the same across all 1:1 support types. They're reviewed yearly in line with NDIS price guide updates, and they cover everything — no extra charges on top.
Pricing is negotiable
Particularly for regular or recurring bookings — I'm open to a conversation about what works for your situation. If the standard rate is a barrier, reach out and let's talk. I'd rather find something that works than have cost be the reason someone misses out on support.
About the NDIS price limits shown above: The figures in the "NDIS price cap" column are taken from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025–26, effective 1 July 2025, for community access support in standard metropolitan areas. NDIS price limits are updated annually each 1 July — current figures are always available at ndis.gov.au. The NDIA sets maximum price limits — not mandatory prices. The rate I charge is my own decision as a provider, set to be fair and accessible.
What's included
What your rate covers
The hourly rate covers the full cost of quality support. No extras, no add-ons.
What's not included (and that's normal):
- Food, drinks, or purchases during sessions — those are yours to cover
- Entry fees to events or activities (e.g. cinema, concerts, sporting events, attractions) — if you'd like me to participate in the activity alongside you, any entry fee for my attendance will need to be discussed at the time of booking. If you're happy for me to wait or support from the sidelines, no entry cost applies. In some cases I may already have an existing membership or pass — for example, aquatic centre or gym — which could change things. Either way, there won't be any surprises. Just mention it when we're planning the session and we'll sort it out.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations & changes
Life happens — especially when you're neurodivergent. The cancellation policy follows NDIS short-notice rules, and it's applied with common sense, not rigidity:
Less than 7 days notice
A cancellation fee of 100% of the booked hours may apply if you cancel within 7 days and I can't fill that time with another booking. This is standard NDIS policy — and it's applied with context, not automatically.
More than 7 days notice
No cancellation fee applies. I appreciate as much notice as possible so I can schedule other bookings.
My commitment to you
If I ever need to cancel a session at short notice, I will never charge you and will always give as much notice as possible. Consistency matters — you can rely on me to show up.
I genuinely understand that illness, bad mental health days, and unexpected stuff happen — especially for neurodivergent people. Cancellation fees are never applied automatically. If something comes up, just reach out and we'll sort it. Nothing here limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
Invoicing & billing
How billing works
Self-managed
I invoice you directly after each session (or weekly if you prefer). You submit the invoice to NDIS through your myplace portal to get reimbursed. Straightforward.
Plan-managed
I send invoices straight to your plan manager. You don't have to do anything — just let me know who your plan manager is when we get started.
Private bookings
No NDIS plan? No problem. I accept private bookings too. Get in touch and we'll chat about rates and what works for your situation.
Payment terms
Invoices are due within 7 days of the service date. This applies to self-managed NDIS participants — plan-managed clients are billed directly through their plan manager.
Private bookings are due on the day of service or prior to the session. Payment can be arranged in advance if that works better for you — just let me know when we're getting started.
If an invoice remains unpaid past the due date, future session requests may be declined until the account is brought up to date. If you're having trouble, just reach out — I'd much rather sort something out than turn anyone away.
